How Do You Play?
It's easy!
- Select a card that will be revealed if you are the winner of the weekly draw
- Select and purchase your tickets to the weekly (or monthly) draw
- If you win the weekly draw, your card will be revealed. If your card is the Ace of Spades – You’ve WON
the progressive jackpot as well as the weekly...
- If you did not have the Ace of Spades, then the progressive jackpot keeps growing to the next week.

Are my tickets automatically entered in every draw?
The weekly jackpot is reset every week so you need to purchase weekly to be eligible for the current week’s
draw and a chance to win the progressive jackpot.
Do overturned cards stay overturned?
Yes, each week the weekly winner’s card is revealed. As more cards are overturned the odds increase of the
Ace of Spades being selected to win the progressive jackpot.
Can multiple people select the same card?
Yes, when you select a card you are choosing which card you would reveal if you are the weekly winner.
After 52 Weeks, if there is only one card left, is that weekly winner the winner of the progressive jackpot?
Absolutely correct! If we get to week 52 and the Ace of Spades is the only card left that has not been
overturned, then the winner of that weekly draw will also win the progressive jackpot!
Is Catch the Ace the same game as Chase the Ace?
Yes, both games are the same
How is the prize split?
Weekly ticket sales are split into three portions:
- 20% for the Weekly Prize jackpot
- 30% for the Progressive Chase the Ace Jackpot
- 50% to the charity
What kind of deck is used?
A standard 52 card deck is used, without Jokers.
How do you generate the ticket numbers?
Your raffle ticket numbers are generated via an automated process upon completion of your order. Once your
order has been processed, you will receive an email receipt containing a summary of your order and your
raffle tickets number(s).
When will I receive my ticket numbers?
Once your order has been processed you will receive an email receipt containing a summary of your order and
your weekly raffle tickets number(s).
What if I did not receive an email with my numbers?
It can take up to approx.10 minutes to receive your confirmation e-mail. Please check all your spam/junk
folders to see if the e-mail landed there. If you have still not received an email with your numbers, please
email us at

How do you select the winner?
Winning Catch the Ace tickets are selected from the pool of purchased Catch the Ace ticket numbers via an
automated, random number generator.
Do I have to be present at the contest drawing to win?
No. All contest winners will be notified via email and phone shortly after the drawing.
What should I do if I believe I have a winning raffle ticket?
Check back each week to see the winner of the weekly raffles and to see if that winner has selected the Ace
of Spades. If you believe you have the winning number, please contact

Is my payment secure?
The security of your transaction is our number one priority. We use an extended validation secure socket
layer connection with cutting-edge 256-bit encryption to secure your data. We also employ the most secure
encryption available and support both SHA-1 and SHA-2 algorithms. With 2048-bit encryption used in our root
certificates, our hybrid cryptosystem benefits from the best features of both symmetric and asymmetric
encryption. Yes, your transaction is secure!
What methods of payment do you accept?
We currently accept Visa and MasterCard. We do not accept cash, checks, money order or PayPal at this time.
Q1. I didn’t receive my confirmation e-mail. What should I do?
It can take up to approx.10 minutes to receive your confirmation e-mail. Please check all your spam/junk
folders to see if the e-mail landed there. If you still have not received it, please contact us and we’ll
resend it.
Q2. I cannot access OFAHCTA.CA What should I do?
Per AGCO regulations – you must be located within the province of Ontario at the time of your ticket
purchase. Your device’s locations services must be turned on to verify your location prior to entry to the
online Catch the Ace sales platform. Users must also agree to all Terms and Conditions outlined.
Q3. Why does OFAHCTA.CA require my location?
Why am I receiving the following prompt:OFAHCTA.CA would like to use
your current location?>
Per AGCO regulations – you must be located within the province of Ontario at the time of your ticket
purchase. Your current location will confirm your eligibility.
Q4. What if I already selected "Don't Allow"?
Reloading the page should cause you to be prompted to share your location again. If you have specified that
you never want to share your location, you will need to go into your settings to allow. See Enable Device
Location Services Section.
Q5. What if I receive one of the following prompts?
- "You must allow your browser to share your location to purchase tickets. Please enable location services
for this browser and try again."
- "Location information is unavailable. In order to purchase tickets your location must be able to be
determined. Please enable location services for this browser and try again."
- "The request to get user location timed out. In order to purchase tickets your location must be able to
be determined. Please enable location services for this browser and try again."
- "An unknown error occurred while attempting to determine your location... In order to purchase tickets
your location must be able to be determined. Please enable location services for this browser and try
again."
These prompts are related to your Location setting. You may have told your browser to never share your
location. You have to change that setting before continuing with your ticket order. See Enable Device
Location Services Section.
Enable Device Location Services
Select from the devices below, to enable your access to the E-Commerce site - iOS Mobile Device, MacOS
Desktop, Windows, Android Smartphone. Instructions for each are provided below.
iOS Mobile devices
- Go to the Settings App.
- Go to ‘Privacy’.
- Go into ‘Location Services’.
- Ensure ‘Location Services’ are on.
- Scroll down and click ‘Safari Websites’.
- Make sure that Allow Location Access is set to "While Using the App."
Chrome has the same setting if you are using that instead.
MacOS Desktop
- Open 'System Preferences'
- Select 'Security & Privacy'
- Select 'Privacy' tab
- Ensure ‘Location Services’ is checked
- If it is not checked click the lock icon in bottom right corner of that window to make changes
- Enter in your Username and password
- Check The 'Enable Location Services' checkbox
- 8. If it is checked look at the list of allowed applications and make sure the web browser, you are
using is also checked. Note that Chrome will not show up here, but Safari and Firefox will

- In Chrome address bar there is an icon that looks like a compass/target with a small red X on it

- On the window that opens, click the 'Clear these settings for future visits'

- From the Top Menu select 'Tools' – 'Page info'
- Click 'Permissions' Tab
- Under 'Access Your Location' select 'Allow'

Android Based Smart Phones
Check if location services is turned on
- Go to 'Settings' App
- Go to 'Location' and make sure that it is on.
- This can vary by version or smartphone model
- On most Android Phones you can also pull down from the top of the screen to show several clickable
settings, ‘Location’ is usually available there also.
If Locations is on, you may have previously blocked the OFAHCTA.CA site from
using locations. To Unblock it:
- Open Chrome
- Click on the three vertical dots in the top right corner
- Select 'Settings'
- Under 'Advanced' select 'Site Settings'
- Select 'Location'
- Upper right, click the magnifying glass
- Type OFAHCTA.CA
- If it appears in the search results click it
- Click the 'Clear & Reset' button that appears
- Retry your purchase on OFAHCTA.CA
